The first WWE Raw of 2019 is all set see a number of comebacks as WWE has confirmed that John Cena, Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman will be on the show next week. Starting from Cena, he was to appear on December 31st show but since he was performing at a live event when the show was being taped, his comeback to Raw was delayed. This will mean that his first appearance on the main roster in 2019 will be on Smackdown Live. The show has already been taped, which will be televised on January 1. Cena has not appeared on the main roster since Wrestlemania 35.

Lesnar was expected to be on Raw in the third week of January but his comeback was advanced by two weeks, which wil see him come on the red brand next week. Accompanied by Paul Heyman, he is expected to confront Strowman on the show, who has not yet competed in a match for over a month now (he faced Baron Corbin at TLC but didn’t do perform any move).
He is currently recovering from the shoulder surgery and is expected to make his in-ring comeback soon. Strowman recently returned to training and shared a picture on social media.
Alexa Bliss, former Raw’s women’s champion, will kick off her new show on Raw named ‘The Moment of Bliss’ next week. The first guest on the show will be Ronda Rousey, who defeated her at WWE SummerSlam to win the championship.
Next week, Chad Gable and Bobby Roode will also be defending their tag team titles against The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder). Unlike the last two episodes of Raw, the next episode will be a live affair and will take place on January 7 at Amway Center Orlando, FL.
